Appointments

1. How do I schedule an appointment?
Book online in minutes or text us—no phone calls needed.
Use our secure online portal to pick your first in‑person evaluation or follow‑up. Prefer texting? Send a message to our office line (603‑555‑1234) and we’ll reply with availability and a booking link.

2. How soon can I be seen?
We have zero waitlists—most new patients start within a week.
Once you finish the brief online intake, we’ll offer the earliest opening. If you need faster access, just let us know via text and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

3. What should I expect at my first visit?
A focused, 60‑minute in-person diagnostic evaluation to set your treatment plan.
You’ll meet us at 288 N Broadway, Salem NH, complete symptom review, medical history, and QbCheck testing if desired. By the end, you’ll know your diagnosis, treatment options, and schedule your one‑month check‑in.

4. How often do I need in‑person versus telehealth visits?
You’ll come in once for your first visit, then only annually—everything else can be remote.
After your initial in‑person evaluation, we require just one yearly face‑to‑face check‑in. All other follow‑ups can be via Zoom for Healthcare or a phone call, whichever you prefer.

Financial

5. What insurance plans do you accept?
We’re in‑network with Quest, BCBS MA, Carelon, Cigna, Aetna, and Anthem BCBS NH.
If your plan isn’t listed, text us to verify—we’re always expanding our networks. Out‑of‑network options are available too.

6. Do you accept self‑pay or out‑of‑network patients?
Yes—easy self‑pay and superbills for out‑of‑network reimbursement.
Pay at each visit with credit/debit/HSA, and we’ll send you an itemized superbill for insurance claims.

7. What are the costs if I don’t use insurance?
$300 for the initial evaluation and $150 for each follow‑up.
Those flat rates cover everything from paperwork to prescription authorizations—no surprise fees.

We follow HIPAA with encrypted EHR (Osmind) and strict access controls.
Your records live securely online; only authorized staff can view them. We never share your data without your written consent.

Join via a secure link or call from a private spot; we don’t record unless you give explicit permission.

12. Do you use AI or transcription tools during visits?
We use JotPsych AI scribe only with your consent, then you can opt out anytime.

Refills

13. How do I request a prescription refill?
Text your pharmacy’s refill request or use our patient portal—no calls required.
Pharmacies send us electronic requests. For non‑controlled meds, you can also request refills via portal or text.

14. Can I get early refills or replace lost prescriptions?
Early or replacement stimulant refills are rare—plan ahead and store meds securely.
Controlled meds renew monthly by law; lost/stolen scripts may require a report. Non‑stimulants have more leeway—text us if you need help.

15. What happens if I miss a follow‑up appointment?
You may face a brief gap in your prescription until you reschedule—reschedule ASAP via text or portal.
Staying on schedule is crucial for controlled meds. If you miss your slot, text us to lock in the next available time and keep your treatment on track.
